真善美 The Sound of Music

這次過年的大收獲就是重看一次真善美，
只記得這是我小學看過的電影，
當時對於電影唱唱跳跳的場景印象很深，
只是對於故事後來的發展卻不太記得了，
剛好有機會借到FOX在2005年發行的40週年特別版本DVD，
重溫舊夢了一下，
又再一次感受到這部電影的魅力，
尤其在學了點英文和德文之後，才發現歌詞的美妙，
真善美，一部我父母從小就看的電影，40年後，至今仍是一個經典..

The hills are alive, with the sound of music
My heart will be blessed, with the sound of music
電影一開始就是奧地利明媚的風光，女主角Maria在山上的草地上奔跑唱歌，
大塊大塊的白雲、風吹過綠草微微搖擺、綿延展開的山稜線，
點出了the sound of music 及女主角的性格與對音樂的熱愛

接著轉到修道院，修女們正討論著Maria到底適不適合當修女，
How do you solve a problem like Maria?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?
How do you keep a wave upon the sand?
於是決定讓Maria去當the von Trapp Family管家，it's God's will
而Maria也決定前往並面對這樣未知的冒險，
I have confidence in confidence alone
Besides which you see I have confidence in me!

退役的軍官，獨立帶著七個孩子，最小5歲到最大16歲，
嚴格紀律的家庭，沒有歡笑沒有音樂，只有哨音與口令，
我超愛他們一字排開點名的那一幕...


小孩中的大姊Liesl，和一個送電報的小子Rolf互相愛慕，
常趁著送電報給父親的機會，偷偷在後花園約會，
荳蔻年華的少女，期待一份專屬於她的電報，也因此有了很可愛的對唱

而真正讓Maria打入這群孩子們的心，應該是從這場打雷開始吧，
她告訴她們盡量在害怕的時候想些 My favorite things

Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

接著就是這部電影最經典的橋段了，也是我最喜歡的一首歌，
Maria開始帶領著這些孩子們進入音樂的世界，
從每一個音符開始、到排列組合、把字放進去，
於是他們可以開始唱歌，於是他們可以把所有開心的、難過的都表達出來..

我自己也覺得真的很神奇，這首歌只是幾個簡單音階罷了，卻好聽朗朗上口
以前也看不懂歌詞的奧妙，現在才覺得真的把音樂變得好生動，
這就是音樂不可思議的魔力吧，每個人的開始都是一樣Do Re Mi，
The first three notes just happen to be Do-re-mi
可是卻可以創造出成千上萬的歌曲，可以high可以療傷、可以是anything

do-re-mi-fa-so are only the tools we use to build a song.
Once you have these notes in your heads,
you can sing a million different tunes by mixing them up.
Like this.
So Do La Fa Mi Do Re, So Do La Ti Do Re Do
When you know the notes to sing, You can sing most anything

漸漸地，父親也感受到孩子們的轉變，
Maria為這個家庭帶來了歡樂，也意外挖掘了父親的好歌喉，
(雖然電影裡有2次Edelweiss，但我個人覺得第2次來得較深刻，所以之後再講)
而在這段期間中，我最喜歡的就是小孩們要和賓客們說晚安的歌了~
唱得可愛，還有舞蹈編排動作，配合得相當得好

Regretfully they tell us Cuckoo, cuckoo
But firmly they compel us Cuckoo, cuckoo

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night
The sun has gone to bed and so must I

想當然爾，男女主角一定要日久生情一下的啊~
Maria開始驚覺自己存在這樣的情感，於是逃回了修道院，
Mother對她開導，告訴她 喜歡這個男人不代表就喜歡上帝比較少，
修道院也不是拿來逃避的場所，應該勇敢面對，於是Maria選擇回去，
男女主角終於坦誠面對彼此的情愫。

這部份之後正是我國小時期失憶的一段，
現在看覺得那燈光也打得太柔美了吧、男女主角眼神都一直放電，
重點是我很喜歡這段的歌詞的論調，可能是年紀大了之後也略有體會吧:p

之後，德國占領奧地利，要求家家戶戶掛上納綷的旗幟，
並且下令男主角必須以最快的時間加入德國軍隊服務，
違令可能使全家人有生命安全、服從卻又更無法想像後果會如何，
於是他們決定趁夜逃亡，就在被納綷逮個正著時，陰錯陽差參與了音樂節之比賽，
而這也是我所說Edelweiss出現得恰到好處的點，
男主角眼眶泛紅、全家人、甚至台下奧地利觀眾都跟著一起哼唱，
尤其在這樣一個外面局勢紛擾的情形下，歌詞變得很有深度..

Edelweiss, Edelweiss
Every morning you greet me
Small and white, clean and bright
You look happy to meet me

Blossom of snow may you bloom and grow

最後，the von Tropp Family 一家人趁亂逃跑，
躲過修道院德軍的搜索，最後翻山越嶺，從此離開奧地利...


劇終了，
可是所有的音樂卻非常深刻在我耳邊流轉，
整部電影主題就是愛和勇氣，真的就如中文名一樣-真、善、美，
哎~歌詞實在不過癮，快去找來聽聽吧~
這樣的一部片子也難怪可以在40年後的今天依然永垂不朽囉~
